The following is a list of some of
the questions we are regularly asked in our dental practice. If you
do not see your question answered here or, if you would like additional
information, please feel free to contact our office. We are always
happy to assist you in obtaining the information you deserve.
How does the
doctor keep up to date on all of the current techniques and materials?
Dr. Schwam has over 200 hours of continuing
education at the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and
continues to pursue additional educational hours every year to ensure
that he brings only the most updated and latest cosmetic and restorative
dentistry skills to his patients. He also regularly attends doctor
study groups in order to review and gather information on the most
up to the date techniques in neuromuscular and implant dentistry.

Can you show
me what my smile can look like ahead of time with imaging software?
Dental imaging allows us to help our
patients visualize the overall results of cosmetic and restorative
work. We will sit down and discuss with you what you hope to achieve,
take a variety of photographs of your current smile and enter all
of that information into our computer system. We can then generate
a graphic image that will accurately demonstrate how your procedure
will affect your smile.

Do you accept
referrals?
The success of our office is directly
dependent on your complete satisfaction. We are happy to accept referrals
from other dentists and also welcome referrals by our patients to
their family and friends.

What different
payment options do you provide?
We accept cash, personal checks and
all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express
and Discover. We are happy to assist you in filing your insurance
as well. Please contact our office for additional information regarding
payment options so that we can answer any further questions.

I want my
front teeth to look better, but I do not want to wear braces. What
would you recommend?
We can provide a number of ways for
you to improve the appearance of your front teeth without braces.
For slightly crooked or unevenly worn teeth, a bit of reshaping and
the addition of porcelain veneers may be sufficient to give them
a bright, uniform look. In other cases, it may be necessary to attach 'invisible' braces
behind the front teeth. We would be happy to talk with you further
about the option that best suits your individual situation.

How can I
safely whiten my teeth?
There are a number of procedures available
to help whiten your smile, from at-home whitening products to in-office
supervised treatments. Our team will discuss with you the options
available and help you determine what treatment will be the most
effective for your individual circumstances.
